Look only. No changes.
Use this first. It shows total votes, moved up, moved down, non-movers, new entries and anything that may need archiving.
Simple guide
This page explains the admin screen in plain English. Use one tab at a time, check the preview, then save your change.
Admin tabs
Use this first. It shows total votes, moved up, moved down, non-movers, new entries and anything that may need archiving.
Change page wording, colours, logos, social links, the sharing preview, artists, songs, artwork, order and vote totals. The phone preview responds as you type. Nothing changes publicly until you press Save & publish changes.
The map uses approximate IP geolocation. It works without an API key by default; an optional IPinfo token can be added in this tab.
See recent chart/embed traffic, IP activity, risk hints and recent votes. Flag keeps a vote counted while you review it. Reject excludes it from the live total but preserves the audit record. Ban future blocks new votes from that IP without deleting history.
Upload the workbook you already use. Click Preview first. The importer reads the Top Ten Tracker sheet and marks green highlighted rows as latest releases.
Use this to download the CSV spreadsheet after voting closes. It gives you the full chart breakdown for the week, including latest-release status.
Use this during the Monday update window. It can prepare a new week, reset votes, save previous ranks and help archive entries.
Use this after removing the bottom entries. Add the song title, artist name, music style and artwork.
You usually do not need this every week. Use it only if you want to create a fresh Top 100 chart poll.
Choose embed colours and display options, preview the result, then copy the iframe or JavaScript embed code.
Create full JSON backups, export portable CSV data and restore safely. Vote security flags and bans are included in full JSON backups.
Use this before sharing links. It lets you check the public poll and live wall preview.
Live editor
Open the Live Visual Editor and use the phone preview on the right. On a mobile or tablet, the preview moves below the controls.
Add only the social accounts you want displayed. Set the sharing title, description and image so Facebook, WhatsApp, X and other services can show a branded preview.
Search the list, edit each track, use the arrows to reorder it, upload replacement artwork or add a new entry. Only tick Delete when you intend to remove that entry and its vote records.
Monday process
Voting closes Monday at 10:30am. Do not make final weekly changes before this time, because listeners may still vote.
Open Import MKB Spreadsheet, upload your current Excel file, and choose Preview only. Check that the green latest releases have been found.
Download the CSV spreadsheet. Keep this as your weekly record before making changes.
Check the Top 10, Middle 80 and Bottom 10. The Top 10 are highlighted. The Middle 80 stay in. The Bottom 10 are the replacement candidates.
Archive tracks that reached the 10-week number-one rule. Then archive the Bottom 10 if you are replacing them with new submissions.
Go to Add New Releases. Add each new song, artist name, style and artwork image. Use the preview before saving.
Use Prepare Monday Refresh. This saves previous ranks, resets votes for the new week and opens the next chart period.
Open the Previews tab and check the voter page and live wall. When happy, share the website and Facebook/group link.
Boxes explained
| Box name | What it means |
|---|---|
| Song / Title Name | The name of the track listeners will vote for. Example: Heartbreak Highway. |
| Artist / Musician | The singer, musician, band or act name. Example: Sarah Blue & The Roadlights. |
| Style | The music type. Example: Country, Americana, Celtic, Folk, Western, Rockabilly, Singer-songwriter. |
| Position | The chart number you are giving the track when setting up or importing. |
| Previous Rank | Where the song was last week. Use 0 for a brand new release. This helps show moved up, moved down, new or non-mover. |
| Weeks at #1 | How many weeks the track has held the number-one position. When it reaches 10 weeks, it should be archived. |
| Weeks on Poll | How many weeks the track has been in the Top 100 chart. |
| Image URL | A web link to the artist artwork image. Use this only when the image is already hosted online. |
| Upload Image | Choose the artist artwork from your computer. This is usually the easiest option. |
| Votes per day | How many times one listener can vote per day. Your chart uses 3 votes per day. |
| Import MKB Spreadsheet | Upload your existing Excel workbook. The system reads the Top Ten Tracker sheet and treats green highlighted rows as latest releases. |
| Latest Release | This means the row was highlighted green in your spreadsheet. It will appear in the CSV as Latest Release = YES. |
Spreadsheet
The CSV shows whether each track moved up, moved down, stayed in the same place, or is a brand new entry.
The CSV separates the chart into Top 10, Middle 80 and Bottom 10 so you can quickly decide what to keep or replace.
Rules
Keep the Top 10 and Middle 80 unless they have reached a special archive rule. The Middle 80 are still active and fighting to reach the Top 10.
The Bottom 10 are normally replaced with new artists from submissions. Also archive any number-one track that has completed 10 weeks at the top.
Tip: Print this page and keep it beside the computer during the Monday update window.
